Chocolate Tea- Our favorite coffee replacement! The flavor? Much like a black tea with a strong chocolate aroma. We love to add honey and cream.
Caffeine? None- but features a heavy dose of theobromine. This active compound in chocolate will wake you up in the morning without the usual coffee jitters. Chocolate tea is made from the husk of cocoa beans. After roasting our cocoa, we delicately separate the husk and the nib from the bean. The separation of the two occurs through winnowing. The resulting amount of husk is sifted and added to our jars! Each jar has approximately 15 servings.
Directions: Add 1 Tablespoon per cup of boiling water. Let steep for 5 minutes. A tea infuser or French press are preferred methods.
